Every generation commits a few fashion faux pas that will be remembered fondly decades later. Maybe you were in the generation that couldn't get enough of massive hairstyles full of gels and aerosol hair spray. Maybe you were around for the days of velour jumpsuits, or the baggy oversized clothing trend. Even the youth of today cannot escape their own weird fashion moments. With the popularity of emojis, clothes covered in emojis are somewhat popular (and that did get hated on in the comments!). 

Another trend that's dropped out of style is permed hair. I remember family members getting perms, because you never forget that smell! Perms make your hair have nice curls, but the smell lingers for ages, and you have to take special care of your hair so that it doesn't lose its shape. Having super straight hair is also no longer in vogue, which is a relief for those of us who applied heat to our hair every day for years. 

Fashion is always evolving, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We may never agree 100% on which trends are and aren't slaying, but there's quite a bit of consensus in these comments.

    Font - Diplodocus114 I'm 57. We have had many. Am sure most of my UK generation will either cringe or remember fondly. Lol My late 20s (female). Sky high gelled permed "big hair" with chandelier earrings, white stilletos and the reek of Georgio perfume everywhere you went on a night out. I recall that perfume being banned in some places as it was so pungent.
